A very rare car indeed – with only 34 UK RHD cars delivered in 2008 and 28 UK cars delivered in 2009 during the cars production run.

The desirable Clubsport specification makes the car even rarer and this is surely just one of handful of RHD UK CS cars finished in the iconic Guards Red colour scheme.

Performance – well the numbers of 204 mph top speed and 0-100 in 7.4 seconds (quicker than the V10 Carrera GT!) only tell half the story. The small matter of 530 BHP & crucially 680nm of torque from 2200 rpm result in a car which offers truly “Jekyll and Hyde” performance characteristics. Fuss free docile motoring in traffic with outstanding acceleration when you apply the throttle – even today this is probably one of the quickest point to point cars on the road.

Rear wheel drive opposed to the 4wd employed by the Turbo around which this model is loosely based – means that intimate steering feel of a 2wd 911 is married to that monster of an engine and a 145kg weight saving over the more common Turbo model.

Limted edition Porsche models such as 997 GT2 are highly sought after and when this is combined with the CLUB SPORT package – this represents an eminently practical and exhilarating 911 for the collector.
